Busted

Yesterday, I posted about The Husband and his addiction to vehicles. I was hesitant to post this for a couple of reasons. The one main reason I was hesitant to post was because many would read it and think The Husband to be an ass when, in reality, he's truly a great guy. He does not run up debts and bills with his vehicles. There was a time, long ago, when that may have been somewhat true, but we are older and wiser now. He always consults me before making a major purchase (as I do with him) and we discuss things. He is fair and considerate. I complain because I do not always get my way and that is what pisses me off. At the same time, it is not entirely fair for him to never get his way either.

The other reason I was reluctant to post is because I knew my mother would have some sort of comment and it would not be a nice one. I was right. She posted anonymously. (Hi, Mom!) I guess she didn't realize that I use StatCounter and it tracks visits to my blog. While I am unable to track specific readers, it was not difficult to pinpoint Mom because of the time of her visit and the frequency with which she visits the blog. My guess is the rest of you are safe with your anonymous posts. As for you, Mom...you'll have to post from a different state in order for me not to know it is you. :)

For the record (again), I want to clearly state The Husband is a great husband and father. He is my soul mate and I will be eternally grateful to his sister for setting us up on that blind date oh so many years ago!

  1. I do NOT doubt how great the Husband and Father is. I only thought that he had toned down this addiction to the Motor cycle for now. I didn't mean for you to get upset with me or feel you were "busted". Actually, the Bronco might be as useful as the truck or the Van.
