Better late than never!

Got this End of the Year meme from my friend, Jen, over at KittenWhore.

1. What did you do in 2008 that you’d never done before? Stood up to my father about something I felt strongly.

7. What dates from 2008 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? Hmmm....I don't know.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Wow...don't know. Rode my bicycle 180+ miles (but not at once!!)
9. What was your biggest failure? Not riding my bicycle 1000 miles as I was supposed to!

16. What song will always remind you of 2008? Viva La Vida by Coldplay
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:a) happier or sadder? Happier b) thinner or fatter? Thinner, although I hadn't noticed! Someone recently told me. c) richer or poorer? Richer - both financially and emotionally.

22. What was your favorite TV program? Didn't really watch much - The Biggest Loser and football!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? Hate is such a strong and awful word. It takes up too much energy to hate people.

29. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 40 this year and did not do much on my actual birthday since it was during the week. It was a good birthday, though.
30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? It was a pretty good year, so that is a tough question.

38. Quote a song lyric that sums up your year. I don't know music well enough to do this one!

  5. Popped over from SITS...
Just had to tell you that I also loved Curious Incident! A high school near me made it the required reading for all of their 9th-12th graders this year. If is good to see so many of them walking around with it.
