Going out with a bang

Today was The Boy's last football game of the season. It's a bittersweet time because we hate to see the season end, but DAMN, it's cold outside!

They ended the season the way they began...with a win! It was a great win, too, because The Boy was playing one of his best friends' teams! Last time they met, our team lost in overtime. This time, we won BIG TIME. The final score was 22 - 6. The Boy scored our first touchdown of the game, which was super exciting. The momentum kept up all game as the boys played their hearts out.

We had a lot of fun cheering them on, and that's the part we'll miss.

Of course, basketball practice begins Monday, so we've got a whole 'nother season ahead of us!
